New Knight Stand Campus Store to Open

Helping Hands Needed

Planning is underway for the CCHS Boosters Association to open a campus store in the newly renovated area that formerly held the Knight Stand, near the school’s cafeteria.

The new Knight Stand Campus Store will offer for sale such items as notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, composition books, and CCHS apparel. Additionally, we would also like to make available a copy machine that students could use for a small fee.

Here is the catch: We need your help to be able to do this. We are seeking volunteers to work in the store one or two days each month. We are looking for retired alumni, alumni who may be students at a local college/university, parents, grandparents, and Central community members who have a free day during the week to work at the campus store. As an incentive, all volunteers will receive 10% discount on CCHS apparel.

Ideally, the store would be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day during the school week. However, the operating schedule will depend on the number of volunteers. Initially, store hours might be limited to just two days per week. We are looking to open the store in August -- just in time for the start of the 2009-10 school year.
