Members of Teens for Life attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C. on Monday, January 23rd. The Archdiocese of Washington is hosted a Youth Rally and Mass on the morning ot the March. Central Catholic Teens for Life were invited to attend and tickets were provided to our students for this event, courtesy of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
Members gathered for 10:00pm Mass on Sunday, January 22nd at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with Rev. Fr. Dennis Schuelkens and the Rev. John Mulcahy as celebrants. After Mass, students from both Central Catholic High School and Bishop Donahue High School boarded buses to ride through the night to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life.
Fr. John Mulcahy from St. Vincent de Paul joined the Central students on the bus for the trip and Fr. Dennis Schuelkens of Our Lady of Peace Parish rode the bus with the Bishop Donahue students.
Currently, Junior and Senior members of Teens for Life meet in the school Chapel before lunch to pray for life issues every day.
